Our School

South Central High School, SCHS, is a public high school serving grades 9 - 12 in the heart of Winterville, North Carolina.  SCHS has an average enrollment of 1660 and a student to teacher ratio of 17.5 : 1.  The school mascot is the Falcon. 

The mission of SCHS is to strive to ensure every student achieves the skills and knowledge to be competitive in today's world through integrity, strength and excellence as our Falcons RISE!

At SCHS, we're proud to be a Capturing Kids' Hearts school - a program focused on building strong relationships between students and staff.   Through our staff trainings we work to create a positive and respectful classroom culture where students learn in an environment that prioritizes academic success and student well being.
